United must sign this player along with a new number 9!. Yoro, Amad, Cherki, Mainoo should be the new face. United already sadly missed out on JoaoNeves. Saf would turn all 3 of these players into world class Players. Ugarte and Zirkzee are good players too. The team has potential for sure. I hope Amorim is a special one.

I don’t see the Griezmann comparison due to Cherki’s frequency and style of ball carrying and dribbling; I see more of a Messi or Brahim Diaz. Also Madrid wouldn’t be a great fit because they’re currently suffering from having too many Mavericks lacking work rate off the ball and Cherki would only add to that even if he does end up playing in the first place, which isn’t guaranteed. Ultimately think he would work best as a False 9 in most teams with runners around him which could help compensate for his lack of defensive actions as he wouldn’t have to do too much defensively other than press as the furthest player forward out of possession. Best fit is likely Liverpool either as a false 9 or Mo Salah successor, as Salah isn’t being asked to do much defensively currently anyway.

Cherki would outright fail in the Prem imo. The best club for him is PSG as they’re building a hub/ecosystem of technicians who are quite versatile. Him with Doue, Kvara, Dembele would be incredible. He also shares the same agent with Doue & Dembele so that’s something to also look out for. Overall, great analysis on the player. He’s sneakily athletic in some ways as you’ve pointed out.
With Salah staying now I’d love cherki at Liverpool as our main 10 + Salah cover if necessary. Congrats on your certification btw.

I feel like PSG would be a fantastic tactical fit (if he was more of a team play) the issue there would be could be able to compete for a starting role with regularity with the likes of Doue, Barcola, Kvaratskhelia and Dembele all thriving in their fluid front. Ultimately as a Fulham fan I really wish he didn’t have that sour mentality to reject us because he would be thriving for us on that right flank offering much more dynamism and potential making himself the heart-beat of the club,

Arsenal suffered when Ødegaard was unavailable. He would be fresher if there was less game-time demands on him.

The problem with Madrid is that they would be adding yet another maverick who doesn’t press. They’ll get killed in big games if he is a starter
Tactically, if he’s to sign for United I will love him to play as the R10 and Zirkzee as the L10, both can roam, link play up but I doubt their level of physicality.
Dorgu as LWB, and Amad as RWB. Bruno and Ugarte double pivot. Mainoo can still play as one of the pivot in a team that dominates possession.
Ugarte is a major ground eater and covers a lot of distance.
My favored formation will be Martinez De Ligt Mazraoui/Yoro.
Dorgu, Fernandes Ugarte Amad/Dalot
Zirkzee/Mainoo Cherki
Osimhen/Delap/Ekitike.
However, Eze is a player i would pick ahead of Cherki but I would wish we get both. Eze, Cherki and Osimhen. Osimhen might compliment the physicality of Cherki and Zirkzee.

This is the player United need to be going after. Perfect for Amorim’s system and has that confident arrogance that this team is desperate for. Plus Amad’s numbers at RWB are better than when he played 10. Pair that with Ekitike up front and instantly makes us a serious team while not breaking the bank.
What I love about him is unlike most mavericks, he’s very selfless.

My favourite player to watch. I see him as a Hazard with Messi esque movement and Neymar flair. His weaknesses can be improved. I never thought i’d see Dembele be clinical but look at him now. Olise presses now. I’d love to see him try and replace KDB if Wirtz is unattainable. He plays the game beautifully. Imagine him with Marmoush and Haaland as runners linking up with Foden and Rodri.
Xavi Simons will be a good one next, similar profile and will have lots of people looking at him especially with his release clause
