Which one is better these gloves or the Everlast Everlast Elite 2020 Training Boxing Gloves
So the price point of these falls right in line with the Hayabusa T3 and slightly under the Superare S40/50 and the Phenom SG-202/210. Obviously the Superare and Phenom gloves are leather, but I’m not too hung up on that. Where would you slot these among those other 3 gloves (really the 16oz for sparring)?

I feel that it’s another poorly built gloves from Everlast. The only gloves I like that are made by Everlast are the MX2.
Do you prefer cleto Reyes or this for sparring ? In terms of protecting me from head kicks n all ?
I got the 14 oz’s because of black friday…for knuckle protection. I am 47 now, and that is my main thing when I look for gloves. I have the first version of these and like them. I am hoping these are even more protective with the improved thumb.
How does the wrist support compare to Rival RB11? I bought the Rival gloves on your recommendation and love the wrist support but they are finally wearing down.

I’m 5 9 170lbs, I bought the 16 oz for training/sparring and they are huge. They look like sockem bop ems. I like how these are super durable and firm, but ya they run big and are bulky.

Can’t they them in Canada yet but those look good. I have 16oz hayabusa T3 for sparring and 12oz Rival for bag work, but if either break I might consider those ! Thanks for the review.

the biggest difference, or shall I say the biggest improvement with elite 2 is that they got rid of stitching on the punching surface they had on the previous model. other reviewers have criticized the older model for the stitching on the punching surface as it can possibly cut sparring partners. good thing they finally got ride of it – the stitching.

Hey Carlo, just before these came out, I discovered that the originals are, to me, the perfect gloves. I primarily like the rugged synthetic material. Unfortunately, they’re all out of stock. Do you know of anything with a similar feel? Also, have you seen the new Venum Impact Evo gloves? They look like they were going for a similar look.
Idk I’m a big fan of Powerlocks I feel like with a lot of padding you won’t feel that snap or impact. And China made gloves idk about that one. I feel like it’s good for sparring
