  1. As I said in a previous post you need a pre and post WW2
    Pre

    W Johnson
    Cy Young
    Mathewson
    G Alexander
    L Grove

    Post
    R Johnson
    Gibson
    Koufax
    Maddux
    Seaver

  2. No Koufax, Grove, Seaver, Feller, Young and 13 time 20 game winner Warren Spahn. Rivera was great but these men were dominant 200-300 innings a year. Unbelievable!!!!

  3. I was born in 1984. Pedro’s stretch from 97 to 2003 is the best ive seen from any athlete in any sport. Tiger’s stretch in the early 2000’s would be a close second.

  4. Aint no way matheson was better than pedro. Those old guys hav all those wins cuz they started 75+ games a year

  5. Where’s Nolan Ryan ??? Ryan’s the GOAT man ! Also where’s Cy Young ? You know the guy who has the most important pithching award named after him ??

  6. Warren Spahn was pretty good. So was Sandy Koufax. Clemens should be deleted because of his ‘roids problem.

  7. So, Maddux was at 8 because you don’t know how good he could’ve been because of the steroid era that he dominated?!?!? Also, why is Clemens on this list at all?

  8. A relief pitcher on the list but no Nolan Ryan? Seven no hitters, all time strike out leader…both records will never be topped. The only real record of Clemens was the gallons of steroids he consumed.

  9. This list is terrible. No Ryan, seaver, Koufax??? Come on… If Walter Johnson is number 1 then Ryan should be number 2

  10. Maddux won more golden gloves than any player ever, at any position. His fastball was among the slowest in the league so thinking he was using steroids is hilarious.

  11. Sandy Koufax # 1 Not even close ! All other pitchers you list could not shine his shoes. Look at the 5 year period 1963 to1968 The greatest 5 consecutive year of complete and utter domination.

  12. "Maddux would’ve been higher on the list except for the fact that he played in the steroid era?" That doesn’t make sense. He no question that he faced countless steroid-abusing batter during most of his career, right? So, doesn’t it make sense to place him higher on the list? The only reason to place him lower would be because he was suspected of taking steroids. He wasn’t.

  13. What kind of gen z nimrod made out this laughable list? Kershaw is on the list but no cy young, sandy koufax, nolan ryan, warren spahn or tom seaver???? Wtf…..you leave off the left arm of God? A pitcher with more wins than any other pitcher in modern baseball history? The pitcher with more wins than any other pitcher in all of MLB history and mr no hitter, the all time strikeout king??? This list u made out….down right sucks….you cannot possibly be a true mlb baseball fan!!!! No freakin way…
Here is my list, bet its a helluva lot better than yours….
    1- Greg Maddux
    2-Sandy Koufax
    3-Walter Johnson
    4-Cy Young
    5-Randy Johnson
    6-Christy Matthewson
    7-Warren Spahn
    8-Nolan Ryan
    9-Bob Gibson
10- Tie- Steve Carlton/ Tom Seaver/ Lefty Grove/Grover Alexander/ and about 5-10 other All time greats (including Babe Ruth, yes he was also a great pitcher) that I am forgetting about…..
Now thats a damn list my man….

  14. This is just pandering bullshit vid. Putting these dudes from the early 1900s like they could even get renotely close to the guys of today or even the 80s. These dudes were mostly drunks and out of shape. I hate that i wasted my time on this video.

  15. Great choice to exclude Nolan Ryan. Ryan (112 ERA+/Avg season 14-12/2 post season victories/0 cy young awards) is nowhere near top 10 . Fanbois try to put him there for some reasons. There are at least 50 pitchers in MLB history you’d rather have a game start if your life depended on it than Ryan. In fact Ryan never had a signature win or performance in a game that mattered.
