Saw that 2007 Boise State over Oklahoma statue of liberty play during the live TV broadcast. One of the gutsiest team performances in the history of sports.
For that fake fair catch I would’ve gone to the back of the end zone. I would’ve walked back there so then my return would’ve been the longest kick return possible
I’m not a sports guy, at all. But if I had to pick a sport/division to watch, it would be college football. I feel like there’s more passion and less politics. College players don’t seem to feel as hindered as professional ones.
#5 is actually #1.
You have to remember that Boise
State had led the entire game
until 5:30 in the third quarter
when Boise State stops Oklahoma
at the Boise State 46. OK punt
hits a Boise player on the leg,
OK recovers on the 5 yard line
and scores.
28-17
FOURTH QUARTER
The first few seconds of the
4th quarter see OK kick a field
goal
28-20
2:45 OK takes a punt from Boise
at their 23 yard line.
1:29 OK scores a touchdown. On
the 2-pt conversion, Boise
commits pass interference On
the retry, Oklahoma has a
motion penalty On the third try
OK scores two.
28-28 TIE GAME!
OK kicks off. Boise gets the
ball on the 25 with 1:16
remaining.
On the first play from
scrimmage, Zabransky throws a
pick-6. OK goes up by 7. This is OK’s
first lead with just 76 seconds left in the
game.
28-35
Boise returns the kickoff to
the 22.
54 seconds remain
Boise drives to their 49.
Fourth Down and 18.
18 seconds left in the game.
And then the hook and lateral
went for 51 yards, touchdown,
tie game!
Watched that whole fiesta bowl, and I think that will probably go down as one of my best sports memories. Such an epic game. Reminds me of Bills v Chiefs 2021

That touchdown on the non-existent fair catch signal should never have happened. If you’re covering that kick, and never see a fair catch signal, you put the receiver on the ground, no matter how defenselessly he stands there.
I can remember exceptional games all the way from SB V on up (College and Pro) and clearly the Greatest game I ever saw, beginning to end, was Boise State-Oklahoma in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl.
The no fair catch sign and then taking off is total BS. If they can’t hit you because of safety reasons you shouldn’t be able to pretend. It’s like if a QB pretends to start sliding then takes off again. If you allow it then I am all for letting you get absolutely drilled the next time regardless of a fair catch or not

The Boise State vs Oklahoma game is one of my all time favorites. No one gave them a chance and they beat Goliath.

I love when they do rugby type plays, in football latterals are rare because of fumbles.
Boise state are different
Top 2 not fair play
Well Boise state are going back to the fiesta bowl so we’ll see what they will do then
Brad Wing is still in the game, last year he pulled a fake punt 35 yard pass to a center for a TD
The 10,9,8,7, and 6th ones were my favorite
I can remember exceptional games all the way from SB V on up (College and Pro) and clearly the Greatest game I ever saw, beginning to end, was Boise State-Oklahoma in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl.
