  1. This is why there must be a better system than the current linarly assessing one we have in society. I’m not on a soapbox here. I just think a way of discovering, valuing, and utilizing extreme novelty would be cool.

I think that a healthy human being has a strangely VAST potential of extremely positive attributes.
The only caveat would be when someone totally starts to atrophy. Why does one initiate this atrophy? Often, because the world has told the individual how worthless he/she is over and over or how he has nothing to offer (unless an organic issue is in play).

Something isn’t computing. I’m just saying that I think we are missing immensely valuable treasures, all over the place. The funniest guy I have ever seen in my life (including from media) is currently walking a couple miles in the snow 70hrs/week to work as a stock boy at a Kroger and living with his mother.

  2. Twins fan I immediately think of Nick Punto. Great glove but he was always in the lineup due to someone always being injured in the infield.

  3. Men have hangers and women have slits. But yes, both lie. That is why "believe all women" is crazy and flawed! Look at Johnny Depp and now Trevor Bauer!!!

  4. WAR is a 100% garbage stat…stop using it…it’s s pure guess…you DO NOT have any way to predict what a replacement player would do as opposed to the original starter…ask Wally Pipp.

  5. Enzo Hernandez for the 1971 San Diego Padres had one of the all time weakest hitting seasons. In 143 games he hit 12 extra base hits 9 doubles and 3 triples and had only 12 RBI’s!. He played pretty badly for about 6 seasons on offense. Although his defense wasn’t that bad.

  6. There was a time in baseball that SS and C were the worst hitters on most teams. Always your 7-8-9 hitters. Their glove is what made them special.

  7. So tired of all these new Baseball statistics. It’s been proven time and time again that WAR is not a reliable statistic to judge players! Stop making videos about it

  8. what i don’t like about w.a.r. is ok they say a "replacement player" like ok what if the replacement player is me? im sure i woulda gave up way more runs than that guy did in a season. or what if that replacement player just happened to be a very young 20 year old mariano rivera whos never been in the majors b4. like idk i understand the stat but….idk i guess i don’t understand it fully.

  9. I was so taken aback when you put that random HIVEMIND clip lmaooooo. Last thing I expected to see in this video was Riley xD

  10. what this video was amazing man what good research and a good message/ending man. thumbs up from me brotha.

  11. I thought the worst pitcher in MLB history was Dennis tankersley. That guy should never have made the Major leagues.
He may not be the historically worst, but he’s the worst one I ever saw.

  12. I played D1 baseball, so next time you see me in Arby’s complaining about a guy flailing at a pitch outside of the zone, I’ll be saying that I could do better. It’s important to know, I really can’t. I tried, really hard. didn’t happen.

  13. Most of these guys played before sabermetrics. If that had existed back in those days those guys wouldn’t have had careers at all.

  14. Forget the Mendoza Line. Why isn"t there a Bergen Line. Just goes to show that virtually all major league players have to bring something to the table…..

  15. You don’t have the first idea what you’re talking about…Albert Pujols is a 1sr ballot, unanimous Hall of Fame shoo-in, and you compared him to Chris Davis….
Just be done, you’re embarrassing yourself to those of us who DO know the game.

  16. Yadier Molina is the best defesive catcher in a game that had Bench, Ivan Rodriguez and Benito Santiago. Yeah right

  17. Doug Flynn was pretty bad. One of the first players that comes to my mind is Ivan DeJesus. He always had an average below 200.

  18. maybe that guy at arbys brings work ethic and composure to the clubhouse. everyone has value

  19. I’m really really surprised that Steve cycle lions is not on the list of one of the worst players to ever play the game The guy was horrible in high school he was horrible in college he was horrible and the minors except for like one stint where he might have batted 377 and another time he batted 342 but they were like 10 games stints! This guy was horrible how he lasted 9 years in the MLB and he calls himself an overachiever!? And then on his retirement he said that his skills began to decline… I’m saying and thinking what skills?… How’s Steve suck a lions gets to talk about hitting on MLB The show is one of the greatest mysteries of all time because the guy was like a career 252 lifetime hitter with 20 total home runs in almost a thousand games

  20. How about Juan Castro? -5.4 career WAR, yet managed to spend parts of 17 seasons in the bigs

  21. Always felt like Nick Swisher was shit despite the Indians paying him for being from Ohio.
