  1. This is what I tell all my classmates on how to defend when I was a great defender in elementaryโค

  2. 1st of all try no intercept the ball to the player..if cant, put pressure on before he/she control and turning to you..if cant, then you have to delay..

  3. Poke and block doesn’t make sense, your body position is not good if you stand like that

  4. The first principle as a defender is to deny them even getting the ball then delay once they get it.

  5. ‘Pull him’ is the exact right emergency rule.

As a kid my coach told me "the ball can go past you, the man can go past you but NEVER allow both to go past you!"

  6. I said the last one is bringing him down and i agree ๐Ÿ˜‚ might not be ideal but sometimes it is necessary

  7. The first principle is to clear the ball that’s it do that and your slow ass team has time to catch up but appreciate them bc they run more than you

  8. VVD delayed Messi incoming dribble by backing away yet containing him, waiting till his teammates got back in position.
Clip watchers were crucifying him for not tackling him. Guess VVD was right all along

  9. Don’t be square on is rule 1. If you are you’re done ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

  10. Play with my friends on Sunday. I delay for one hour and no one ever come tu help ๐Ÿ˜‚

  11. That kid have the same mindset with my son๐Ÿ˜‚ that’s why I showed to him this video.

  12. The best option is always to put pressure on the guy with the ball, but in order to do it you need to teach the kids how to do it how to position themselves when to commit which is very hard to learn, that’s why for most people delay is the best thing, but for me it’s not the best, it’s the simplest, but the best thing to do is to always pressure your opponent unless you find yourself in a 1v2 for example, that’s when you should look to cut the passing option and delay
