RANKING THE TOP 25 PLAYERS IN THE NHL | 2024
The 2024 NHL season is right around the corner…..so you know what that means, it’s time to rank the Top 25 Players in the NHL and it’s time for you to chip us about which players are ranked too high, too low, and not even on the list.

Barkov is one of the reasons Kucherov had 0 goals in 5 games, Pastrnak had one goal in 6 games, Panarin had one goal in 6 games, and Mcdavid remained scoreless in games 1,2,6, and 7. Those are 4 of the top 5 scorers of the season. Let’s not forget Marchand was held to 0 goals, Kreider/Zibanejed/Fox all together were held to one goal, and Draisatl/Hyman/RNH/Bouchard had less than 3 goals altogether in 7 games. Barkov is a 2x Selke winner that is on 5 separate lines. 1st line, power play 1 line, penalty kill 1 line, 4 on 4 1 line, and 3 on 3 line. He’s capable of shutting down every team’s top scores while being a ppg player. He should be in the top 5 in my opinion. Mcdavid, Draisatl, MacKinnon, Kucherov, and Barkov. I can see him being in a top 10 at least but anything past that is wild to me.

There’s just no argument for Matthews not being 3rd. No way you’re picking Makar over Matthews to start a team, braindead argument. Makar is cool and all, but a 50 goal a year plus defender centre in this league is just always gonna be a premium player. Theyre saying Makar scores goals he scores 20 a year??? Wow Makar won a Cup on a stacked team in a shit conference lol how does that affect player rankings?
I love the number of comments sticking up for Barkov here. If people want to stop hearing about Barkov being underrated then stop fucking underrating him! He JUST won the Selke for the second time and was the best player and captain on a team that JUST won the Cup. Honestly, what more do you need??!!
i am a huge canucks fan and i am not a huge luka fan know 😡but also i think its crazy that you guys had petterson ABOVE JT miller!! petterson did not show in the playoffs at all.

Matthews is minimum top 3 in the league. A complete centre man who scores for fun. 3 Rockets and should have a Selke given he led all forwards in pretty much every defensive category. Win loss record is a team stat. If Matthews was on the Avs or the Panthers, he’d have a cup. Simple as that.
