They were offside, waiting for a penalty to start, and going for at least a minute…. I think they could have called that offside a lot sooner.
Even as a Leafs fan I was glad to see EdM score after that quick Leafs Goal at the start of the third, they looked completely dejected after working so hard in the 2nd.

Skinner is a liability. Trade him for a real goalie who can let in leas goals. His gaa is above 3 . Basically if the Oilers dont score 4 or 5 they lose every time

All I saw was the final score of the game. The game turned out, though, exactly as I had expected. The leafs blowing the lead and a tieing goal by the Oilers being called back. With the Leafs goalie keeping them in there, the Leafs were purely lucky.

According to the NHL rulebook you CAN’T challenge a goal after taking a timeout!!!
Coach’s Challenge Rules (Rule 38.2) – Teams can challenge offside calls leading to a goal, but the challenge must be initiated before a timeout is used.
Timeout Restriction – If a team calls a timeout first, they forfeit the ability to challenge any play, including offside.
Official Review Process – If a goal is scored and a team wants to challenge for offside, they must do so immediately before using their timeout.
