  1. Una leyenda reconociendo a otra leyenda quien desafortunadamente, nunca tuvo equipo para llegar a otro super bowl y ganarlo!!

  2. I think everybody loves Dan Marino I mean how can you not the man is great on and off the field! Only thing missing from his resume is a Super Bowl ring

  3. Marino and Montana both excellent QB’S with varied skill sets. Both reasonably good at delivering the football
, Joe had the edge on the movability and scramble to get the ball to move in the positive direction, Dan was a better pocket passer who had a terrific arm of precision. They were both able to compliment the players they had to elevate them to the very top of the game. Joe is probably a more diverse player and could play with many different run option style teams, where Dan was limited to being a very effective pocket passer.

  4. Good ranking, not based on silly criteria like SB rings which aren’t entirely under the control of any QB (make me God, and I could easily change TB12’s SB record from 7-3 to 2-8, just by changing the result of ONE PLAY, and moreover it being a play where TB12 wasn’t even on the field, so his stat line would still be identical. But the narrative would then (falsely) change from TB12 being the ‘goat’ to the ‘greatest SB choker of all time’ even though he wouldn’t have been the cause of the loss.).

My only quibble is Aaron Rodgers on the list. Montana himself would be on the list, and I’d rank Staubach and others higher up than Rodgers, who is a great physical talent but has turned into locker room/organizational poison.

  5. Joe’s one of my three sports heroes. Got to see him play at Candlestick many times, including NFC championship game in 84. My recommendation: get the book We Were Champions. The things that his teammates said about him. They just loved being on the same field as him.
