  1. 80 per cent of this video is about the losing team failed tactics. Came here expecting a serious analysis about RM tactic.

  2. It was perfect tactically….Madrid fed off defensive errors in all 3 occasions….can’t mitigate that tactically

  3. Man City should say thanks to a football gods for Real not scoring more and to a judge who was a 12 player of Man City.

  4. i may be biased as a city ffan but really felt the game go out of our hands from the moment grealish was subbed off and it even worse with akanji and then ake. injuries keep affecting an already struggling side

  5. City are just far too slow man, slow build up play, slow midfielders, when city lose the ball they’re automatically on the back foot, Liverpool play with pace, when the lose the ball theyre able to react quickly

  6. This page is so pro madrid. This guy had a chance to cover El Clasico but posted nothing when his favorite team got slaughtered.

  7. In 2nd half, ceballos transformed himself into kroos’s style of play.dictating play from left quarterback position.

  8. You give more attention to Pep
Look at rhe time you spent away from making a video until boom, pep lost against Madrid and u came up with one.
    Try to be consistent!

  9. The issue with Man City is their coach who strictly wants his tactics to be applied without any room for players’ improvisation, and this leads to them making stupid mistakes and poor decisions at crucial moments of the game. For example, a player will decide to pass in a very difficult position while he should actually clear the ball to avoid any risk.
Trying to maintain possession most of the time will lead to making mistakes which your opponents will definitely exploit, especially when the opponent has intelligent and talented players.

  10. Lol! Manchester was terrible and Madrid was scarily more dangerous all game that was only let down by their finishing. It’s funny why this video highlights Manchesters brilliance and mistakes more than what actually happened in the game. What a load of bullocks as expected from another possession worshiping youtube tactico.

  11. Without starting a natural defensive midfelder or at lesst subbing on one. Pep’s tactics were to failure once his opponemt figured them out.

  12. What is this title? 😂 man city shot themselves in the foot with the horrible mistakes in the back line. Why are people even mentioning the chances Real Madrid missed? All these what ifs scenarios are pointless because then you could just ask, what if man city had a competent right back and midfield? Would they have gotten the same chances then?

  13. The whole world can see it but not Pep. City is winning, puts in Rico, its game over. I dont understand why he dont see that. Such stupidity is costing all these games. Not once, not twice, over 10 games now. C’mon stop this please.

  14. you sir coninue to astound me madrid never had a gameplan the way they play is usually for there opponents to make errors or there forwards to do magic. the only reason city did not lose 5-1 or 6-1 is because of how terribly out of form mbappe is and how many chances madrid missed

  15. Hey man whats the app or whatever you use to show formations and plays? Love the vids keep doing great analysis

  16. Nowadays, I’d just dare Guardiola’s teams to beat me off the dribble. He lacks the classically creative players that once complemented his style like Messi, Iniesta, Robben, Ribéry, etc. He’s so focused on winning because of his tactical brilliance and game scripting abilities, that his players only know how to play a part.

  17. A good analysis except when it is said at the end that Madrid was "clinical". In fact, Madrid threw away countless good opportunities to have turned the second leg into a friendly game.

  18. City tactics when they have the Bal in first phase of transition require the opposition to press and fail to do so because of their positioning and that’s create dangerous open space and numerical advantage and overload in the attack however madrid never presses high they play flat 4-4-2 when they don’t have the ball this means when city go to the second phase of attack in Madird half the space is congested and when losing the ball madrid fast transition I to counter attack in any space available is very unpredictable but even when the build up started by Real madrid they find it easy to go into attack because Ceballos was key in this game he was a double pivot with Camavinga he nulified in city press that also gave freedom to Bellingham who can’t be pressed because the flank are preoccupied with Vini, Rodrygo or Mbappe that’s why we find this sequence repeated city pressed Camavinga, Ceballos drops deep manages to provide key pass to Bellingham and he drives with the ball finding 3 options available in any space he runs to this means Madrid were better when they didn’t have the ball and when they had the ball to be honest if the referee wasn’t sypmathizing with city and if Madrid players weren’t wasteful in the game could have been a scandal 6 goals guaranteed for Madrid with 2 or 3

  19. I think a 4-2-1-3 suits them especially without the ball nunes and nico should hold the cdm because they are younger legs to match intensity foden should start Infront them in the middle he is more dangerous and doku Rw and marmoush lw haaland strikes the backline khusonov, ake , dias, gvdiaol in goal Ortega a lot more balance and energy to face a weaken Real Madrid side but pep needs to rest because look how easy the side is fixed he make it kook so hard somebody buy him a playstation he needs to go back to chalkboard

  20. First time ancelottis beaten Pep at the Etihad. Two genius minds picking at each other. Two of the greatest managers of all time

  21. This guy talks tactics for the entire video then admits at the end the man city errors were why they lost 😂

  22. Ancelloti’s subs were the game changing factor. Modric is much better play maker than ceballos , and Brahim is notorious for stealing the ball and exploiting errors of opponents defense. He was waiting for City’s defense to get tired and then he deployed his lethal threat. He is a genius and outplayed Pep.

  23. I love your videos… You have a clear and concise manner in which you outline strategies and don’t over emphasize small intricacies when there is a minor exploitative move or small mistake by the defense. In particular I’m thinking of Atlantisfootball which is a channel by a Man U fan strictly analyzing Manchester United. I think that guy is a fool and overwhelmed in trying to cover every single sequence of play instead of being more simplistic.

Excellent work as always. I do have one question though about defensive set ups and I’ll ask that in a different comment

  24. I bet city will beat Madrid at bernabeu. It’s only next week. I am predicting a 3-1 win by City. That is if they don’t repeat the same errors.
