Phase 1: When then ball is in front of the first defensive pressing line.
Phase 2: When the ball is in front of the second defensive pressing line.
Phase 3: When the ball is in front of the third defensive pressing line (or behind it)

So how come most teams just pass it around aimlessly and then passing all the way back to the goalie and basically only one pwrson is even moving half the time. Soccer ia so lazy now. Watching the euro its mostly just slowly passing round till someone gets bored enough to try something or maybe the odd counterttack
