After scoring an incredible 35-under at The Sentry last week, Hideki Matsuyama is back in action this week at the Sony Open in Hawaii. Having won the tournament in 2022, the Japanese superstar will be confident of carding consecutive wins. However, he will have to contend with five other previous winners of the event in the field this week. American Ryder Cup team captain Keegan Bradley will be teeing it up as the second-highest-ranked player in the field after a strong 2024 saw him drive to victory at the BMW Championship in August. Tom Kim will make his 2025 debut this week, and the South Korean had a good end to 2024 with a second-place finish at the Hero World Challenge. Other names to keep an eye on include Scotland’s Robert McIntyre, Sahith Theegala and Canadian Corey Conners.

2:25 "this guy is not scared to go out and win a golf tournament" ???
It was nice to see Nick Taylor win the Sony Open!
PGA AI highlights. Just pay a 20year old to cut clips. It’s not hard.
Hey, here is a genius idea: How about the NEW PGA Tour Studios creates a new YouTube channel and upload "Sony Open Playoff" as its first video? Unbelievable.
I thought this would have been fixed by now. Utterly shocking highlights all round. Was seeing complaints 12+months ago!
Sure would’ve liked to know what JJ Spaun did to miss out on that playoff with two holes to go. The intern or AI hired to edit all these highlights should be replaced by an actual golfer
Please take this as constructive, but will you PLEASE do highlights in order of play. It should be absolute basics. at 9:20 we see a putt from Echavarria and the leaderboard says Nick Taylor as finished and at 16 under. The next clip is of Nick Taylor miraculously still playing on the 18th while now back at 14 under to finish his round…… Its all well and good having "PGA tour studios" and the shiny new future of golf media being banded around, but you need to do better at the basics. This is feedback that has been ongoing for a while, you have to have the highlights in order of play.
i cant believe how poorly this is edited
WTG Nick… 🙂
Shameful so-called "highlights". Sort it out.

Is it that hard to edit the highlights chronologically pga tour?!?!?!
Play the highlights in order…..
Let it be known that Nick Taylor is not to be trifled with in a playoff
PGA figure out your editing. Don’t even know what’s going on half the time since it jumps around in time so much.
Insanely bad editing, PGA Tour!
It’s hard to tell what’s happening in the end of the round with this editing. It’s not in order and very spotty toward the end. It doesn’t do a good job of capturing the exciting ending of this tournament.
If this is actually AI, you cannot continue this, PGA.
Look!! Comment on @SamuelJoeseph
Since the beginning of this channel the editors are still terrible
Who in the PGA is responsible for this inferior product?
What a bizarre editing effort this was! A 5 year old could do a better job.
Congrats Nick 🇨🇦
Hey, PGA Tour, time to fire the highschooler you got to do your highlights. It’s pathetic! They’re just getting worse, too!
